About the project

In the project “Our Rights, Our Future”, funded by Nordic Culture Point, the organisation Unga Örnar from Sweden, Skunk from Åland and Forandringsfabrikken from Norway have collaborated.

Far too many children know too little about the rights they have to be involved in small and large decisions in their lives. Therefore, the goal of this project has been for children under the age of 18, and adults who work with children, to receive more information about children’s rights.

Webinar about the website

This webinar provides an introduction to what the website contains. The webinar can be viewed by all adults: staff in schools, leisure activities, health and social services, and by parents or others who make decisions in the lives of children and young people.

Young people collaborated

Through the project, young people from Sweden, Åland and Norway have met physically and digitally to work on how children and adults can receive information about children’s rights. The young people have created audio, videos, drawings and role-plays that have now become part of this website. The website is designed so that children and adults in all the Nordic countries can get more information about children’s rights.

This video is from when the young people met in Stockholm. In the film, the young people explain a little about what it is like to collaborate with young people from different organisations in the Nordic countries.
